Develop Conscious Leadership

Who’s in Charge?

Employees don’t leave companies; they typically leave bad bosses. Leadership is not authority and power. Leadership is the responsibility to serve those in the span of care.

Leaders don’t command and demand. They are train, provide supportive feedback, coach, and inspire. Leaders get the best from others by getting their input, involving them in decisions, collaborating across divisions, and developing talent.

To help you on your journey to higher purpose, we:

Develop Leaders
Who Care.

We develop leaders, at all levels in the company, how to lead with CARE – curiosity, authenticity, respect, and empathy. This is an integrated approach to development – modeling examples of why, how, and when to use these skills.

This is a learning journey that includes peer groups, developmental resources, gentle nudges (prompts to use the skills), and feedback. Of course, your leaders own this. We develop a customized program that illustrates how respected peers use the skills. Stanford University says that behavior modeling is one of the most powerful ways to learn. We also train your leaders to train this workshop. This develops performance mastery for all leaders who then become fluent coaches and cheerleaders of the use of these values and skills on the job.

Put Your Values into Action.

A business typically has a mission, vision, and values. But are those values put into action? We work with a company to translate abstract words into the actions that impact your business. Every business has key and critical events. But for each business, they look different. Having a crucial conversation on the factory floor is not the same as a discussion with a customer. Leading a change initiative in high tech has a different cadence than implementing a global supply chain initiative. Integrity at a bank is different than on the loading dock

We create customized learning experiences to show, tell, practice, provide feedback, and apply the important actions that reflect your values.

Instead of passive performance reviews, co-create a process of Collaborative Dialogues.

Employees want to have care, say, growth, and meaning at work. Too often a company’s human systems are only one-way and top down.

We work with you to reimagine these systems. Instead of having the performance appraisal look in the rear-view mirror, we create a highly participatory process for employees to act on their own lessons learned, to analyze the causes of performance problems and provide solutions, to make recommendations for improvements for any area of the company, and to create a forward-looking plan of action.

Conduct Leadership Retreats.

They have several benefits. Strong bonds are created by those with shared experiences and values. Learning requires vulnerability and trust with others when you discover that part of self that has been Known-By-Others; Unknown-By-You. Personal change is supported by others who have your best interest at heart. A leadership retreat provides an opportunity for the stunning moments of self-discovery and recharge.

We design and facilitate leadership retreats that target your goals. Develop leaders. Build a trusting cohort. Build bridges among departments and functions. Create a fiercely loyal team that moves forward on significant projects. Retreats end with a call to action so that the learning continues in its practical application to business issues.

Motivated leaders motivate others.
